Sox Win AL East!
Hello, and welcome to the fifty-third installment of NotWriting.com, an open journal on how one writer spends his time when he really should be writing.
I've been doing a lot of writing on my other blog, but when I haven't been writing (or playing golf), I've been watching my Red Sox.
That is, I've been watching as many Sox games as I can for where I live—in Dutchess County, New York, only about 90 miles from Yankee Stadium.
Anyway, I wanted to put up this short entry to celebrate. My boys took the lead in the AL East from day one, and they didn't let it go all season long.
Nice try, Yankees, but not this year. This year, my boys are the AL East champs. No fricken Wild Card crap for us.
